Government in Indonesia established Dengue working group consist of several government instructions from national down to the village level. Each member of the working group is expected to be more proactive. But in fact they were not fully involved in the prevention and control program. The study objectives were to review the performance of Dengue prevention and control program in Denpasar and Badung District - Bali and factors affected the performance of dengue working group. In-Depth interview was carried out with six key staffs of Denpasar and District dengue working group. The report of the working group was also analyzed, and the group meeting were observed as well. The reckoned dengue was merely health problem and thus the responsibility of health authority. The secretariat of the group should be located at the Major's office led by the secretariat of the district. Both local government should reallocate their annual budget to support the operational work of the group. The indicators of health development should be used as performance indicators of the working group.
