Abstrak
This study is based on the phenomena Indonesia is facing today, which is the popular bilingual-based kindergarten schools. Teachers and students at these schools use two languages in their everyday conversations. In this study, the classroom management for the English subject is observed. The study took place at Ar-Rahman Motik Kindergarten, Jalan Setiabudi Utara Blok D.1.2.3, South Jakarta, on Monday, February 4th and Tuesday, February 5th 2008.
The objective of the study is to get the empirical evidence of how the classroom management carried out at the school supports the students to learn English. This means that theories by an expert are used to analyze whether the classroom management is carried out according to the theory. In collecting the data, the writer chose the qualitative descriptive method, where the writer observed how the classroom management for the English subject at Ar-Rahman Motik Kindergarten is carried out according to theories stated by the expert, and described it based on its quality. The instrument used was observations in four different classes.
The result of the study is that the classroom management for the English subject at Ar-Rahman Motik kindergarten is carried out accordingly with the theory by the expert.
